Position Overview:
Do you have a passion for graphic design? Does designing for a mission-based education company sound exciting to you? Nearpod is looking for a versatile Graphic Designer to join the Content Team.  This role contains the exciting opportunity to support both marketing and new educational content development efforts for our growing K-12 offering.  From developing print and digital marketing assets to content prototypes, this role will be a critical player in ensuring that Nearpod meets its aggressive revenue and engagement targets.
  • Work with Educational Product Manager and Digital Merchandising & Marketing Coordinator to develop and execute marketing strategy and tactics
  • Develop compelling visual and/or video-based stories to effectively communicate Nearpod’s growing content strategy
  • Design overall marketing collateral layout and production design for the Content team in print, digital and video formats
  • Work closely with Product Managers to design prototypes for new content 21st Century verticals based on customer feedback
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
  • Complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support and inform the visual aesthetic for the Nearpod brand
  • Must be based in the Aventura, FL headquarters
  • Bachelor's degree in fine arts, marketing, advertising, or communications required
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design with product development/marketing focus preferred
  • Video production experience required
  • Mastery of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and other components of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • High level of proficiency of print processes including layouts, file types, etc.
  • Have the ability to manage multiple projects while remaining flexible through numerous revisions with constant attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with a Mac-based computer platform
