The Nearpod Summer Fellowship is a full-time, paid summer opportunity for rising college Seniors and first-or-second-year teachers interested in working in a fast-paced, high growth company where you will experience unparalleled professional growth while having an impact on K-12 education.
As a Nearpod Summer Fellow, you will have unique exposure to the top challenges and opportunities within education technology and develop invaluable knowledge and skills as you begin your career. By working within one of Nearpod’s core teams, you will build deep functional expertise and spearhead a project aligned with both your business and education interests.
Throughout the summer, Fellows have access to a series of events and workshops designed to give exclusive access to learn from and network with top technology executives and education leaders.
Fellows may receive consideration for full time opportunities upon successful completion of the program.

Ideal Candidate Characteristics:
Fellows will join one of the following teams, as well as work on collaborative, cross-team projects:
Product (Software) / Engineering: Our Product and Engineering teams work with teachers, technology coordinators, and internal Nearpod teams to develop and improve our platform based on classroom needs. Our product and engineering teams work hand-in-hand to conduct user research and analysis and design and build our software features. Past and future fellowship projects in this area include: building and improving features that make teaching and learning easier and more engaging, developing data collection processes to inform further product development, and building prototypes of software products.
Product (Content/Curriculum): Our Content team works with educators and publishers to create world-class learning experiences that leverage multimedia (video, 3D objects, Virtual Reality) and collaboration opportunities and impact millions of students across the country. Past and future fellowship projects in this area include: managing content design and development for our premier partners, developing streamlined supports for our business development and publisher efforts, and designing an interdisciplinary, project-based learning curriculum.
Marketing: Our Marketing team works with internal product teams and our greater community to share the inspirational work Nearpod is doing to transform teaching and learning. Past and future fellowship projects in this area include: working with our ambassador programs, creating dedicated marketing campaigns for specific customer segments, and supporting social media initiatives.
Customer Success: Our Customer Success team works with our teachers and administrators to set them up for success from the first step to the last. The goal is to not only retain the customer, but also to always be on the lookout for ways to expand the relationship and use of our products. Past and future fellowship projects in this area include: building a program to ensure small or free pilots are successful in a scalable way, identifying new ways to highlight and promote exceptional uses of Nearpod by current customers, and building a “gamification” program to promote early engagement in new customers.
Sales: Our Sales team works with teachers, schools and districts to generate new business opportunities. Past and future fellowship projects in this area include: managing data in Salesforce, working with the renewals team to capture more value from current customers, and working with our lead generation team to prospect potential customers.
