Position Overview:
Nearpod is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Director to manage our growing inside sales team. We are looking for sales managers with a track record of managing, coaching and growing quota beating sales teams. This is a non-producer role that will report to the VP of Sales. Major duties include providing monthly sales metric reports to management, communicating MBO’s to the sales department and managing the sales administration process.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Hiring sales executives that consistently exceed their quotas
  • Training and coaching the team
  • Manage performance reviews and develop rep improvement plans
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is entered into our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Ensure that sales pipeline objectives are achieved and managed correctly
  • Resolve interpersonal issues within department and escalate if required
 
Qualifications:
  • Must be based in Aventura, FL headquarters office
  • 3+ years of successful sales management experience required
  • Track record of scaling successful sales teams
  • Track record of consistently exceeding team sales goals
  • Experience managing similar sized sales teams
  • Must be experienced using Salesforce.com
  • Excellent phone, written and verbal skills
  • Excellent business development and coaching skills
  • Well organized with efficient time management skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to exceeding sales objectives
